Janice Miller

Janice joined Waters Meet in February, 2026. She grew up in a low-income family, supported by the logging industry, outside Bovill, Idaho – with a population of nearly 300 people and over 20 miles to the nearest commercial grocery store or hospital. She and her two sisters are first generation college students; Janice has degrees in culinary arts, paralegal studies, and business communications. Janice shifted her career focus to nonprofit and political work in 2019. She has since worked remotely from Portland for multiple by and for organizations in Spokane and Oregon and on the campaigns for several state and local elected leaders in Washington as either staff or an independent consultant.

She enjoys spending time with her children, Lucy and Oscar, and traveling, kayaking, camping, the group chat with her sisters, sliding Lord of the Rings and Simpson’s quotes into professional communications, and her cat  Penny.
